Grivory HB 7187 natural is a lactam free copolyamide, especially developed for high barrier (oxygen, carbon dioxide) packaging solutions. Excellent oxygen and carbon dioxide barrier at both low and high relative humidity conditions. Highly transparent, suitable for co-extruded and oriented multi layer films in conjunction with polyamides, polyesters and polyolefins. Suitable as barrier layer in injection stretch blow moulded containers e.g. PET bottles. Excellent barrier properties after steam sterilisation and orientation. Very good water vapour barrier for a polyamide. Grivory HB 7187 naturl is suitable as a barrier layer for various multi layer applications such as PET barrier bottles, cast films, blown films and extrusion blow moulded containers. High barrier grade with faster crystallisation speed, Tm 234°C, Tg 89°C
