Grilon FG 40 NL natural 6025 is a nucleated, lubricated and high viscosity blend of PA6 and PA 6I/6T suitable for the production of mono and coextruded blown and castfilms. As a result of the modification it offers better gas barrier properties at elevated humidity and after pasteurisation and sterilisation, better optical and UV- barrier properties, better aroma barrier and flavour protection, better thermoforming and orientation properties. Grilon FG 40 NL natural 6025 is used as oriented films for sausage casings and deepdrawn films as packaging for meat, cheese and fish (pouches, shells, covers) at elevated humidity levels.
